This special piece provides an immediate wow factor thanks to its vintage print, bold colors, quality material, and jumbo size. The scrolling floral motifs in deep jewel tones of red, blue, and green are reminiscent of styles found during the Mughal Period, when Indo-Islamic design flourished as a result of Persian, Turkish, and Indian influences blending together.

The Alamwar design vocabulary is an amalgam of cross-cultural trade. This pillow's gorgeous pattern is block-printed by hand with vivid natural dyes that evoke vibrant mosaic tiles found in the Blue Mosque of Istanbul, a city linking Europe and the Middle East, where the only sea route between the Black Sea and Mediterranean exists.

Alamwar's archive of blocks are hand-carved out of wood and serve as a record of textile history. Each pillow is meticulously hand-crafted by skilled artisans at the brand's workshop studio in Hyderabad, India.

This pillow comes ready to style. Cushion insert is included.

Variation is a part of the charm of hand-made products, telling the story and giving the mark of the creators who craft them. Due to the hand-made nature of the product, no two pillows are exactly the same.
